Also, there are a few books by authors who have done questionable and problematic things I made the decision to leave out a few of these books but kept some in. This is a more of a masterlist rather than a recommendation list again, I have not read most of the books on this list, so I cannot vouch for them all. Let me know if there’s something on-page that’s not noted here! I also noted content warnings, but know that I could not get them for every single book. If you see any mistakes here, please let me know, and I’ll amend it as soon as I can! I tried to note representation as specifically as possible, but I haven’t read most of this list and had to rely on other people’s reviews. Again, this list is a YA list, but both of those websites I link recommend books and put together lists for all age ranges.Īs always, I am only human and I make mistakes.
Also, LGBTQ Reads (run by Dahlia Adler) is another great resource if you’re looking for more books to read. Please go follow them! They host monthly book clubs dedicated to LGBT books in addition to reviewing and recommending so many LGBT titles.
So to celebrate Pride 2021, here’s a list of all the LGBTQ+ YA releases in 2021! There are 200+ books on this list, and I spent a full week trying to make this list as thorough with the representation as I possibly could.Īs always, a huge thank you to Charlotte, who co-runs readsrainbow (a blog dedicated to LGBT media), along with Anna, for sending me many of the titles on this list. These lists get longer every year, but seriously, the list this year was a monster to put together. happy pride month, lovelies!! To celebrate, I’m continuing my tradition of compiling all the YA LGBTQ+ releases of the year here are the lists from 20.
